Vintage red / off white checkered box, manufactured c. 1950s-1960s. This piece was sourced from an estate outside of New Orleans, and has a classic Louisiana charm, with "Cuisine Heureuse" ("happy food") printed on the side. The box is made of a hard pressed board (i.e., particle board wood).
