Vintage tole painted wooden magazine rack, c. 1930s-1950s floral magazine organizer
Vintage tole painted wooden magazine rack, c. 1930s-1950s floral magazine organizer
Vintage, wooden, tole-painted magazine rack, made c. 1930s - 1950s (based on the prior owner's grandchildren's assessment of when the attic was packed up). Beautiful piece with two sections for organizing magazines, letters, newspapers, etc. One side has pink flowers, with a blue ribbon design, and the other is plain (other than the trim).
- Decade: c. 1930s-1950s
- Brand: Unmarked, other than a vague signature that says "JC", and what looks like "L291"
- Measurements: 15" x 10.75" x 14.75"
- Condition: In fair to good, vintage condition. One of the wooden dowels is cracked, and there are various tiny chips on the paint and wear on the wood throughout. The piece is still fully functional (and the broken dowel can be hidden by magazines or replaced), but has wear. Please see the close-up photos and let us know if any additional details would be helpful.
